Pretty Girl!!!!

Josefina loves to put my make up on. When I don't hear Josefina, I know she is in my bathroom with my make up. I took these pictures a few weks ago. She loves it, she is such a girl!

She is growing very fast, we would love her to stay just like this forever. 

She is so excited about the baby and asks "the belly" if he wants to play, she sings to the baby abd loves to put lotion to my big belly.

Grandma's Visit

Well, it's been a while, but grandma Barbara came to visit a few weeks ago.

She stayed with Josefina over the weekend while Mark and I were is Wisconsin. We had a great weekend and then came back to our beautiful little girl .

It was so much fun to have Barbara here for a week. We all had so much fun and are just so greatful for the time we had to spend together. Josefina misses grandma everyday. She always asks where grandma Barbara is.

Josefina and grandma had a great time on the carrousel, one of Josefina's favorites things to do when we go to the mall.

Josefina's Fashion Show

Josefina loves to dress up as a princress. But what she loves the most is dress daddy up as a beautiful princess. 

They both have so much fun, and Mark looks so masculine:)

Attack of the seagulls!!!

Today I decided to take Josefina to the beach. After all the rain it was time to go. It was cloudy and windy, so for Florida it was the "perfect day". We got there and after playing for a while, mommy decided it was time to eat .

We sat down , and it was just perfect. Josefina was soooo happy. All of a sudden I notice that a few seagulls were lurking around us, ( as you can see in the shadow in the picture )- I thought "no biggy" , after 2 seconds there were 20 seagulls on "attack mode" right next to us. They started flying super low, trying to get our food. I started to get a little nervous...then one landed onmy head trying to get my sandwich!!!! It was so sacary, I try to move my hands so the would go ( silly me ), they started flying back. One took Josefina's sandwich from her hands.....awful!!

For the record, I am not over reacting, I never expected those birds to behave in such a mannner !

Josefina started to cry, so I grabbed my daughter and started walking. we moved away from the attacking birds...and all was well.

I kept looking back and those nasty birds were right there, waiting for us to get back.

Besides that, we had a great day and it was the best day ever with Josefina.

I learned today that I guess it's better to go eat in the car and enjoy the beach later :)

We look forward to taking grandma Barbara in two weeks.

Josefina loves taking baths!!!

This is Josefina's life.....she loves to take baths ( just like aunt Lisa ). This is something that she started doing a few weeks ago. As soon as she gets in, she lays there for a while. I think is her way to relax after a loooong day of playing!
This is what she is thinking : "I'm trying to relax mother, no more pictures please".

It's a Boy !!!!

We are so ecxited for our beautiful family. We are having a boy!!!! I still can not believe it, it was a very emotional moment for mommy today to find out our baby's sex. Unfortunately, Daddy wasn't able to be there ( he is hunting in Utah ) , but had the OK to find out the sex :)
He knows me, I can't wait ...I'm way to anxious when it comes to surprises!
The doctor said that everything looks great, 10 fingers, 10 toes, all the organs are developing well...so we couldn't ask for more.
We sure feel blessed!!!

Hello Family!!

Hi everyone!!! It's been a while. Well as you can see Josefina's hair continues to grow, she has the most beautiful curls :)

She loves to eat "dulce de leche" a little habit she learned in Argentina ;) , she doesn't do it often but when she has some , besides eating she loves to give herself a good old facial!

Josefina loves to wear her sun glasses ( daddy got them for her ) , along with her purse and she is ready to go out. She is a little star !

Mammy got a kitchen for Josefina a few weeks ago and she just loves to prepare all kinds of food for mommy and daddy. ...soup anyone?

Daddy has been working a lot latetly, not much time to play...so when he got home Wednesday ( after finishing his proposal ) he took Josefina for a ride on the longboard. They had so much fun!!! Needless to say Josefina is totally in love with Daddy. Everytime I get close to give him a kiss or hug, she tells me "don't touch, it's mine " ..... I told her that daddy saw me first :) jajajaja!!!

We are so excited to find out the baby's sex next week. I'll post the ultrasound picstures.

Josefina and Daddy on the Longboard

Mark and Josefina spent some quality time today playing on the longboard. Something mommy can't do :)! She loves when Mark is home, he has been working so hard for the past three weeks that we haven't seen much of him.

Our Baby!!!

This is our baby at 12.4 weeks old. I had this ultrasound last week and it was so amazing to see our little one:)

I am feeling so much better and started to have my energy back! I am sure Josefina and Mark are pretty happy about it!

At the Tampa Zoo

We went to the Tampa Zoo this morning, it was a lot of fun! We got our anual family pass so we can go as much as we want. Josefina had so much fun at the "splash park". She run for 15 minutes non stop, that's why I couldn't get a really good picture. Then, we walked around , went and fed the giraffes and after that went to the petting zoo, where Josefina loved feeding the goats.
It was a great day for mommy and Josefina.

Here are a few pictures . 1.are all my friends I went to school with and their kids. 2.Josefina, her cousins and friends ( the two little girls ) 3.4.5. We all celebrated Josefina's B-day, we forgot to buy candles so we just decided to put those huge ones on the cake so her and her cousins could blow the candles. They had a blast doing it!!!

My Trip to Argentina '08

As many of you already know, Josefina and I spent an unforgetable month in Argentina visiting my family. It was the first time my family met Josefina and before this trip I hadn't seen them for over 3 years.

We had a blast, it was very emotional to see everubody at the airport waiting for us. I was so happy that Josefina warm up to everyone right away.

All I wanted to do is just to hung out with my mom, dad and the rest of the family. And that is exactly what we did.

My mom is an excellent cook, and we had the most amazing food ever. The best beef in the world, super fresh fruits and veggetables....everything was soooo yummy. I ate enough beef for a whole year, hopefully we will be able to go again pretty soon.

It was so nice to be taken care of for a whole month, not having to worry about anything. My mom will bring breakfast to Josefina and I in bed every morning and we will just sit in bed an chat. I am getting emotional to the thought of every single moment I spent with all of them!!!

In this picture we are at a beautiful farm that a fried of my mo's has. They have so many different animals, and as you can see I was brave enough to seat on a horse for the picture, I have done it before ....but it had been a long time.

It was just perfect. They prepared "asado" and salads and after eating we just sat and relaxed and later on we drove and walked around the farm. The kids had an amazing time and so did the adults.

Our Weekend

Well, we had a very nice weekend. We went to Honeymoon Island on Saturday, it's a beautiful beach. However, we didn't go to the beach, we left home a little too late in the day and it was scorching hot. So, we decided to walk a beautiful trail. We saw ospreys, turtles and so much more. Josefina had a great time walking and exploring.
Later, we decided to continue our search for a house. We drove further north of Tampa and among all the planned communities, there was a pocket of older homes on 1.5 to 4 acres. We found a house that we really liked. It's a 3/2 on 1.5 acres. with a barn that it's about to fall apart and plenty of nature. There is a lot that needs to be done on the outside, the yard and so on but it's very cute. Just the thought of having all that space to run around. We made an appointment with the realtor and went back Sunday to look at it. The house is very nice inside and has a really nice layout. We'll see what happens.....

Let the new Adventure Begins !

Well as most of you already know, we sold our beautiful little home in Houston, Tx , packed our belongings and moved to Tampa, Florida.
We have had many changes in the last couple of months, but managed to stay focus on what's important ( not all the time, but we try :) ).
At the moment we are staying in an apartment until we find our new home. It is always exciting to drive around different neighborhoods, looking for that perfect house that will be "our home". As long as we have a few lollipops for Josefina we are good to go. She really is a trooper, she keeps calling her friends all the time.... so sad :( and she is still not sure what happened. I think that Mark and I feel the same way. Even though we knew it was coming, it just feels that it happened in a flash!
We have unpacked only what we need and kept all the other boxes in the garage. We have to make sure we keep it this way, because in a few months we will have to pack up everything by ourselves ...not very exciting!
I do miss my beautiful backyard, just the confort of opening the door and beaing outside. Taking care of it, playing with our little angel and all the great things taht come with having your own space.
The weather so far it has been great. It gets pretty hot during the day, not as humid as Texas and what it's really great is that during the day and night there is a beautiful breeze ..... so nice!
I will learn how to post pictures so you can see where we live.
This is all for now, I am going to try and do my best to keep up with this.
